Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Technical Inspector to join a reputable multi-disciplinary consultancy operating across the built environment. This is a home-based role covering Greater London and the Eastern Home Counties, where the Quality Technical Inspector will work on a broad range of projects including residential, commercial, education, blue light, and healthcare.

Job Responsibility:

  • Carry out regular inspections of live construction sites to assess the quality and progress of works
  • Verify compliance with design documentation, Employer’s Requirements, contractual specifications, and warranty provider standards
  • Produce detailed inspection reports with photographic evidence
  • Liaise with site teams to ensure quality expectations are met
  • Visit manufacturing facilities to assess off-site construction quality

Requirements:

  • MICWCI, MCIOB or equivalent professional membership
  • Sound knowledge of building construction and inspection procedures
  • Strong communication and reporting skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to organise your own workload and manage deadlines
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook (Excel desirable)
  • Qualifications or experience in fire safety or façade inspections are beneficial but not essential
