Job Description:

We are searching for a Quality Systems Co-op to contribute to our Global Quality Systems group within our Quality team. This position will be based out of our Three Rivers Facility. The Quality Systems Co-op will gain a broad understanding of AAM's process, products, procedures, and systems by supporting implementation of new initiatives in Quality Management Systems.

Job Responsibility:

  • Learn about AAM Q4 Quality System
  • Create and follow standardize work
  • Utilization of Quality Systems – SharePoint, APEX, IQS, IPF
  • Interfaces with plant Quality, Engineering and Production Teams
  • Issue CARS (corrective action reporting) and track to completion
  • Assist with Supplier Quality engineering activities associated with manufacturing FTQ and OEE loss
  • Assist with troubleshooting daily production defects through root cause analysis techniques as they occur
  • Issue PRR’s to suppliers for defects regarding line downtime
  • Capture downtime, driver, and sort cost to supplier issues
  • Implements safety and good housekeeping standards
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree fulltime in Engineering or related field with a graduation date of May 2027 or later
  • Available to work 25 hours per week year-round
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Must be able to work in the US without Visa Sponsorship
