Job Description:

Being a Quality Practitioner Apprentice is a varied and exciting career, with each day being different to the next; from facilitating risk prevention events, undertaking audits through to using innovative solutions to solve significant business problems and drive continuous improvement. Through a series of placements within the Quality function, you will gain experience of the management and review of the companies processes and procedures and their use. Using this experience, you will ensure we fulfil our contractual and regulatory requirements of our customers and stakeholders through quality planning, quality assurance, quality control and continuous improvement activities.

  • Using innovative solutions to solve business problems while pushing continuous improvement
  • Gain experience of the management and review of the companies processes and procedures and their use
  • Ensure we fulfil our contractual and regulatory requirements of our customers and stakeholders through quality planning, quality assurance, quality control and continuous improvement activities

Requirements:

  • Five GCSE’s at Grade 4/C or above to include Maths and English
  • Applicants must be aged 18 or over, as of 31st August 2026, due to security clearance requirements
  • You’ll need to be a British Citizen for security clearance
  • Attention to detail
  • Patience when approaching complex tasks
  • Good communication skills
  • The ability to follow instructions
  • IT skills

  • Deliver and facilitate teaching and learning up to Level 5, demonstrating occupational competency within Business Improvement qualifications such as Improvement Technician (Level 3), Improvement Practitioner (Level 4), and Improvement Specialist (Level 5)
  • Support and deliver where required English, Maths, and ICT functional skills at level 2 throughout the learner’s learner journey
  • Complete the required number of visits and reviews required for each apprentice meeting all stakeholders’ requirements of quality and funding
  • Engage learner’s line manager to provide adequate support and guidance needed by the learner as outlined on the learner journey
  • Coach learners to collect the required evidence during training sessions, to ensure progression for their apprenticeship and to achieve the necessary milestones in preparation for EPA or framework completion
  • Monitor and review learner’s welfare on a regular basis, taking any necessary action to limit the number of early leavers from the programme and maintain agreed caseload levels
  • Carry out enrichment activities with learners around the prevent, safeguarding and British values government agenda
  • Manage and complete administration duties within given timescales ensuring all paperwork deadlines are achieved
  • Ensure knowledge of all subject areas for both standards and frameworks are kept constantly updated by way of self-development (CPD) and standardisation events
  • Research the industry on a regular basis to keep abreast of market developments and trends including competitor’s practices and delivery activities
