As Quality Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for global establishing and applying delivery & test management, and technical quality standards and services within the delivery portfolios and across the business. You will ensure that Quality Gates and Quality Engineering principles are embedded throughout the software development lifecycle, driving consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Job Responsibility:
Create & implement based on best practices, policies, and procedures around Quality Management, including Test Management, DevOps, and delivery (Agile & Waterfall)
Define, implement and enforce Quality Gates across all phases of delivery to ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements
Provide independent assurance through health checks, gate reviews, and prioritization based on SAFe methodology in systems such as Azure DevOps
Proactively assist teams in the Delivery Portfolios by providing direct support, expert advice, and guidance on Quality Engineering best practices
Support onboarding of Project/Delivery Managers to ensure consistent knowledge of ways of working based on SAFe
Introduce innovative concepts and ideas to improve overall efficiency in Performance & Quality Management, and set up and maintain quality metrics and dashboards
Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery pipelines aligned with DevOps principles
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Master’s preferred
10+ years of relevant work experience in Project Management and Project Delivery
Expert in Project/Programme Management principles, methods, techniques, and tools
Implementing QA roadmaps
Strong knowledge and experience with software testing frameworks, test automation, and Quality Engineering practices
Experience working with digital tools such as Miro, Mural, Smartsheet for supporting Design Thinking and Rapid Prototyping approaches
Proven ability to develop and implement Performance, Quality, and Assurance functions for both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
Certification or operational experience in managing development of Project Online, SharePoint, Azure DevOps, and Office 365 toolsets to support continuous process improvement
