Job Responsibility

Inspects all fabrication jobs to maintain the quality levels of work produced in accordance with applicable codes and standards and Prospect Steel QC procedures
Travels to subcontracts to inspect jobs for proper standards when required
Prepares daily inspection reports
Monitor records on all shop welders with their level of certification and monitor daily rod use
Assist in setting up, monitor and maintain welding procedures, bolting procedures and painting procedures required for projects
Provide feedback on questions related to qualifying and project requirements from shop employees
The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required
