Greentalent is a recruiter specialised in search and selection of professionals and managers in the Energy, Engineering and Environment market. On behalf of an innovative company specialised in energy storage systems engineering and construction, is looking for a: Quality Control– Energy Storage. The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of experience with Equipment Manufacturers or EPC Contractors operating in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Power Generation sectors. The candidate should have a solid understanding of quality control principles related to industrial, power, or chemical plants, and a strong motivation to actively contribute to the energy transition.

Job Responsibility:

  • Creation, review and/or approval of Project Inspection and Test Plans, based on contractual requirement and internal standards
  • Review and approval of preliminary vendor’s procedures like welding book, NDE procedure, PWHT procedure, Hardness Test procedure, etc
  • Review and approval of Inspection and Test Records including Final Manufacturing Record books (MRB), issuing Inspection Release Note at time
  • Coordinate external inspectors for assignment on all global scale
  • Manage internal and external NCR aspects including creation, discussion and closure
  • Carry out inspection activities directly (when needed) during the manufacturing progress as well as at final stage, by performing VDI and/or attending other inspections tasks like NDE, hydrostatic test, etc
  • Provide QC support to all internal/external customers, by managing correspondence and keeping a good and productive relationship
  • Ensure that Company QC Targets are reached
  • Act proactively by anticipating potential issue, with the aim to be aligned with delivery date
  • Promote the Company culture as well as QHSE policy
  • Promote a health, safe and environmentally responsible working environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in QC Engineering roles within Engineering/Manufacturing site or similar industry, or experience in QC activity in a similar field, would be preferred
  • Knowledge of major Codes for pressure Vessel (ASME/EN), Pressure Piping (ASME/EN), Structural Codes (ASCI/EN) and all major Directive/Code/Norms like PED Directive, Machinery Directive, EN1090+ISO3834, AWS D1.1, etc
  • CSWIP 3.1, NDE Level II in Radiographic interpretation (desirable)
  • European welding engineers or technologist (desirable)
  • Good knowledge of the English language are essential
  • Willingness to travel in Italy and abroad is mandatory
  • A genuine interest in clean technologies and energy transition
