Job Description:

Hybrid Quality Assurance and Customer Support role testing and automating UI and API features across the Mist product line while working directly with customers to investigate and resolve queries. Requires strong technical skills, customer-focused mindset, and proactive attitude.

Job Responsibility:

  • Test, validate, and automate Web GUI and REST API functionality across staging and production environments
  • Investigate and reproduce customer-reported issues
  • Log, track, and manage defects and enhancements
  • Maintain and update test plans to support regression testing
  • Build, monitor, and maintain test environments
  • Write and maintain clear technical documentation
  • Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects independently and collaboratively

Requirements:

  • U.S. citizenship required
  • 8+ years of combined experience in Quality Assurance, software testing, Customer Support, or related engineering roles
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Proficient in Python programming language
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Solid foundation in programming concepts and software development best practices
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams

Nice to have:

  • Experience with UI and API troubleshooting
  • Experience with Selenium and pytest frameworks
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and be resourceful in problem-solving
  • Experience writing detailed regression test cases
