Job Description:

Qualified Social Worker role in the Multi-Agency Children's Hub (MACH) Team at Middlesbrough Council, focused on protecting vulnerable children, shaping their futures, and making a profound impact within the community.

Job Responsibility:

Critically assess and analyze incoming contacts and referrals, identifying potential risks and needs
Collaborate seamlessly with integrated partners from Police, Health, and Education
Conduct initial needs assessments that capture the child's voice and circumstances
Offer expert guidance and consultation to colleagues and external agencies
Contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of the MACH service
Maintain meticulous and comprehensive records
Participate in essential duty rotas, providing a rapid response to urgent safeguarding concerns

Requirements:

Qualified Social Worker
Current and active registration with Social Work England
Updated Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
Deep-seated passion for safeguarding children and championing their welfare
Exceptional analytical, assessment, and rapid decision-making abilities under pressure
Proven track record of thriving in dynamic, multi-agency environments
Superior interpersonal and communication skills
