Job Description:

The Product & Design Team is seeking a talented QA Designer to help us ensure development builds achieve the design intent and adhere to visual specifications for software products across both native and third party platforms. We’re looking for a technically proficient, critical thinker with a trained eye for design details who would like to play a key role in ensuring the beauty and excellence of software.

Job Responsibility:

  • Help us ensure development builds achieve the design intent and adhere to visual specifications for software products across both native and third party platforms
  • Advocate for adoption of design interaction patterns and unit standards
  • Raise visual inconsistencies to the greater design team
  • Protect visual UI integrity throughout the ecosystem
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams from Engineering, Product Design, Editorial, and Production to understand the products from all angles
  • Recognize workflow inefficiencies and a strong desire to improve them

Requirements:

  • Team player with a strong commitment to world class design quality as a key part of the software development cycle
  • Creative thinker, fast learner, and problem solver with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to provide design guidance to others clearly, diplomatically, and concisely
  • Strong organizational skills combined with a proven ability to identify pixel-level visual UI inconsistencies across multiple concurrent projects with minimal direction

  • High degree of proficiency with operating systems and design tools like Sketch, Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator
