Job Responsibility:

Designing and implementing testing processes, executing test cases, identifying defects and collaborating with developers to improve the quality of the application
Identifying defects/ inconsistencies and defining clear and relevant test scenarios/ test-cases to ensure the application’s compliance with the given acceptance criteria
Create/ review/ update test-cases based on the functional and non-functional requirements
Reporting and monitoring issues
Analyzing business and technical requirements
Performing a wide range of tests: Regression, Functional, Non-functional, Exploratory, Integration
Documentation of defects/ bugs and follow up on the resolution
Collaborating closely with the developers and Technical Leaders in order to identify and solve all the defects and bugs
Working and staying up-to-date with the latest testing tools

Requirements:

Relevant hands-on experience in automation testing
The ability to learn and understand the business logic of the product
The capability to properly analyze written documentation/ specifications
The capacity of tracing the best approach to test various functionalities, using the most appropriate testing techniques for specific use-cases, thus reaching an optimal coverage
Identifying defects/ inconsistencies and defining clear and relevant test scenarios/ test-cases to ensure the application’s compliance with the given acceptance criteria
Create/ review/ update test-cases based on the functional and non-functional requirements
Significance level of the discovered issues
The capacity to observe unanticipated problems and to avoid critical issues
The skill of conducting a risk assessment on the newly implemented feature, in order to prevent major impacts on the overall application
Assuming the responsibility of the tested product, by ensuring that the system follows the provided requirements
Time productivity – meeting the deadlines along the application life cycle, up to production
Ability to communicate outside of the testing team boundaries: Product management, Product owner, Development team, Support team
Knowledge of automation testing tools, scripting and programming: Cypress, Java, Python, Bash
Experience in functional and non-functional testing
