The project is part of a newly established division dedicated to mortgage products. The QA Automation Engineer (SDET) will design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions for web and API systems. The team is migrating from Java-based automation stack to JavaScript-first approach, while occasionally supporting legacy frameworks.
Job Responsibility:
Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for UI and API layers
Support migration from legacy automation frameworks
Execute, analyze, and maintain automation test runs
Build automation coverage across functional, integration, regression, and performance testing
Improve and maintain automation frameworks and best practices
Work independently on assigned streams or standalone automation tasks
Collaborate with Agile teams and follow QA standards
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in QA Automation
Strong understanding of QA fundamentals, including manual testing artifacts
Readiness to work with JavaScript
Comfort working with Java when needed
Experience with UI automation (WebDriverIO or Selenium)
Experience with API automation (Unirest or RestAssured)
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
Ability to work independently
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
Knowledge of TDD, test patterns, and automation best practices
English level: B1 (Intermediate) or higher
