Job Description:

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist to manage supplier pricing, support new product development, and help drive cost efficiency. This role works closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure accurate pricing, strong supplier performance, and timely procurement.

Job Responsibility:

Issue RFQs and ECNs to suppliers and analyze submitted pricing
Evaluate supplier quotes using internal cost models
Drive cost reduction activities and support value engineering efforts
Manage supplier relationships and performance (quality, delivery, cost)
Issue and track purchase orders for production, tooling, and trial parts
Review and approve invoices
monitor pricing changes and trends
Read part drawings to assess accuracy of supplier pricing
Lead supplier meetings and resolve production or quality issues
Report key updates and escalate concerns to leadership as needed

Requirements:

Experience in purchasing, cost analysis, or supplier management
Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
Ability to interpret technical drawings and cost models
Proficiency in Excel and procurement systems
