Job Description:

Marriott Hotels is hiring a Purchasing Manager for Guangzhou Marriott Hotel Nansha. The role involves handling procurement operations, maintaining inventory and safety compliance, and performing supervisory duties, among others. Job Responsibility:

Print and organize documents
summarize and distribute relevant information
maintain up-to-date knowledge of safety programs
adhere to food handling policies
maintain records for reports and invoices
calculate figures for inventories, orders, and costs
conduct inventory audits
notify manager of low stock levels
troubleshoot vendor issues
oversee return processes
reconcile shipping invoices
monitor food PAR levels
manage rejected or unacceptable items
train, schedule, and coach employees
ensure adherence to quality standards
report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
develop positive working relationships
provide assistance to coworkers
perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving objects.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
at least 2 years of related work experience
at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
