Purchasing Coordinator

• Coordinate the procurement of various supplies and materials, including parts, grease fittings, and welding equipment, to support manufacturing operations
• Obtain quotes from vendors and negotiate pricing for bulk and packet purchases to optimize cost efficiency
• Manage purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery of goods and supplies to meet production demands
• Schedule and oversee the acquisition of required components and supplies for the manufacturing floor
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including vendor agreements and pricing details
• Collaborate with internal teams to assess supply needs and forecast inventory requirements
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during all purchasing activities
• Monitor vendor performance to ensure adherence to quality and delivery standards
• Provide regular updates to management on procurement status and cost-saving initiatives

• Proven experience in purchasing or procurement roles, preferably within a manufacturing environment
• Strong ability to negotiate pricing and manage vendor relationships effectively
• Familiarity with creating and managing purchase orders and procurement documentation
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in coordinating supply chain activities to meet production needs
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors
• Knowledge of purchasing software or systems is a plus
• Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m
