Job Description:

We are looking for a Purchaser to help secure IKEA’s future growth by driving efficient procurement and building long-term supplier relationships. You are an energetic, motivated, and analytical professional who enjoys diving into details while keeping the big picture in mind. You have experience in procurement, project management, and building relationships. You align with our values and are passionate about improving the lives of many people at home.

Job Responsibility:

Build and maintain trustful relationships with suppliers, ensuring compliance with IKEA’s IWAY standards and Code of Conduct
Manage procurement projects to optimize costs while delivering valuable solutions for our customers
Collaborate with colleagues across functions to achieve strategic goals
Continuously monitor the supplier market, contribute to category planning, and seek innovative sourcing solutions
Implement and communicate procurement strategies and ways of working with all relevant stakeholders

Requirements:

strong knowledge of procurement and sourcing processes
ability to work both operationally and strategically with a professional approach to negotiations
experience with SAP Ariba or similar procurement tools
good understanding of market trends and supplier dynamics
capability to work independently, lead projects, and set priorities
proficient in English and Polish (Czech or Slovak are a plus)

Nice to have:

Czech or Slovak language skills
