Job Description:

Sara Walker with Robert Half is looking for an experienced Purchaser to join our team in Redmond, Oregon. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels in building relationships, and is committed to delivering exceptional service. As a key contributor, you will oversee procurement activities, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with company policies.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee and manage all procurement activities to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing of goods and services
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and agreements
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to forecast purchasing needs
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards in all purchasing activities
Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
Collaborate with other departments to align purchasing strategies with business goals
Track and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and vendor performance
Resolve any issues related to orders, deliveries, or payments in a timely manner
Provide regular reports on purchasing activities and cost analyses to management

Requirements:

Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or a related field
Strong communication and negotiation skills to build effective vendor relationships
Familiarity with inventory management and forecasting techniques
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills
Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards
Proficiency in using procurement software and other relevant tools
Ability to analyze market trends and make data-driven decisions
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
