Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Public Relations Consultant to support the strategic launch of a new beauty and wellness brand. This contract position is based in Orlando, Florida, and offers the opportunity to shape the public image of an innovative product line. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in media relations, press release development, and grassroots promotional strategies.

Job Responsibility:

Develop and execute public relations strategies to successfully introduce the brand to the market
Review and refine existing press releases to ensure accuracy and impact
Build relationships with media outlets to secure coverage and award submissions
Identify and implement grassroots strategies, such as blogger events, to generate buzz
Collaborate with the brand manager to align PR efforts with digital media and broader marketing activations
Provide recommendations for penetrating the market without relying on mass distribution
Assist in promoting products through direct-to-consumer (DTC) channels, including Amazon
Offer insights into the beauty and wellness industry, particularly in science-driven products
Analyze gaps in marketing and PR strategies and propose actionable solutions
Monitor the effectiveness of PR campaigns and adjust tactics as needed

Requirements:

Proven experience in public relations, particularly within the beauty or wellness industry
Strong knowledge of media relations and press release development
Familiarity with direct-to-consumer (DTC) strategies, including e-commerce platforms like Amazon
Ability to create and execute grassroots marketing campaigns
Understanding of science-focused beauty products and vitamin supplements
Demonstrated success in securing media coverage and award submissions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and budget-conscious environment
