Job Description:

The Public Area Supervisor at the Shanghai Marriott Hotel Yangpu Riverside is responsible for overseeing the cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas, responding to guest requests, adhering to company policies, and supporting team goals in a professional and collaborative environment.

Job Responsibility:

Respond to guest and department requests
ensure cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas
adhere to safety and company policies
support team goals
maintain professional appearance and conduct.

Requirements:

Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments
replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms
perform cleaning tasks, such as making beds, cleaning bathrooms, and vacuuming carpets
ensure all appliances are in working condition
adhere to safety and security policies
maintain cleanliness and professional appearance
support team goals
move and carry objects up to 25 pounds
work extended shifts
demonstrate clear and professional communication.

Nice to have:

No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
no related work experience required
no supervisory experience required.
