Job Description:

Join our team as a Projects Crew Member, working at various sites across Australia. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a keen individual to step into the next phase of their career in a full time capacity and with a variety of roster options.

Job Responsibility:

  • Install paste reticulation systems and related infrastructure and equipment
  • Support surface and underground life-of-mine infrastructure works
  • Install vent doors, rising mains, primary and secondary fans, and assist with concreting and de-watering
  • Operate underground mobile plant, including light vehicles, ITs, and flatbed trucks
  • Use hand-held rock drills for underground tasks
  • Complete pre-start checks and paperwork for vehicles and equipment
  • Carry out workplace inspections as required
  • Attend and participate in safety meetings and training sessions, promoting a safe work culture
  • Perform varied duties across both underground and surface operations
  • Follow instructions from Leading Hands and Site Supervisors
  • Carry out other tasks as directed by the Site Supervisor

Requirements:

  • Trade qualification as a Fitter, Boilermaker, Carpenter, Rigger, Concreter, or Trades Assistant required
  • Manual driver’s license is essential
  • HR, CN & DG licenses preferred
  • Experience in civil works across surface and underground environments
  • Working at heights ticket desirable
  • Previous experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of safety standards in plant operations
  • Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • Problem-solving skills and a team-oriented attitude
  • National Police Clearance is required prior to background checks commencing
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to safe work practices

Nice to have:

  • Working at heights ticket desirable
