Job Responsibility:
Active participation in the technical discussions with the customer during the Negotiation Phase, prior to formal kick-off of the project up to the in flight operations of the Space System
Assist to the Project Manager in the requirement assessment and in the risk identification
Close collaboration with the Technical Manager in the definition of the architecture of the Flight Unit based on the project requirements to optimize it and the Ground Equipment designs focusing on a Design for testing philosophy
Lead the requirement assessment to define the EGSE (Electrical Ground Support Equipment) architecture
Support to the Technical Manager for technical issues resolution, in strong collaboration with experts as necessary under quality and programmatic rules
Document and report the Design Validation of the Flight Unit in different documents (Verification Control Document, Test Procedures and Reports) to support the design robustness against the different stakeholder during the different project milestones
Support to the Test Engineers during the integration, qualification and acceptance test campaigns for the corresponding flight models (EQM, QM, PFM, FMs), including development of those jigs needed for (tooling, vibration and thermal fixtures, etc)
During the recurrent phase of the project, the Candidate shall ensure close monitoring of any deviation, evolution and/or discrepancy from the agreed design
In charge of ensuring that the agreed hours for performing verification activities are met
Customer oriented, being able to reach a trust relationship based on a proactive and continuous support to show confidence on the design
Requirements:
Educated to Master degree level (or equivalent) in engineering or science discipline
At least five years of experience in the Validation and Verification of Electronic Units
English and Spanish must be negotiation-level, both written and spoken
Technical excellence and technical challenge spirit
Digital mindset (automation of tasks, scripting, use of digital design tools and simulators)
Excellent communication and reporting skills (both internal and external)
Customer oriented
Strong team working and cooperation spirit to motivate the project team
Capability to propose practical solutions

Independent and autonomous way of working
Nice to have:
Knowledge of space environment constraints and European space regulations, ESCC, SMD, etc
