The Project Manager will assist the Program Manager as an advisor to the Director of Systems Integration and Chief Acquisition Officer for investment decisions and major systems acquisition program management processes and procedures. CG-SID-9 provides support and oversight to the Program Management Offices of major and non-major systems acquisitions and is the primary point of contact with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for the acquisition review process. Due to the size, scope and complexity of USCG acquisition programs, CG-SID-9 requires specialized program management support.
Job Responsibility:
Manage scheduling, meeting coordination, and logistics for project activities
Prepare agendas, meeting minutes, and action item tracking
Develop, edit, and maintain project documentation, including reports, presentations, and correspondence
Ensure accuracy and compliance with government and organizational standards
Organize and maintain project records, databases, and filing systems
Assist in compiling data for performance metrics and deliverables
Support budget tracking, invoice processing, and procurement documentation
Monitor resource allocation and assist with administrative aspects of staffing
Ensure adherence to administrative policies, security protocols, and SOW requirements
Assist in preparing materials for audits and reviews
Serve as a liaison for internal and external communications
Draft and distribute official correspondence and project updates
Identify opportunities to streamline administrative processes
Implement best practices for efficiency and accuracy

Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience providing administrative support in a government or project-based environment
Familiarity with federal acquisition processes and documentation standards
