Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to lead our project team in delivering solar development projects on time, within budget, and in alignment with quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage resources effectively, ensuring the successful execution of solar development initiatives.

Job Responsibility:

Lead and manage a team of project engineers to ensure projects are executed according to schedule, budget, and established quality and safety standards
Provide technical expertise and guidance to the project team as required
Oversee the preparation and timely submission of drawings and project documentation to relevant authorities
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to identify risks, barriers, and issues, and develop mitigation strategies
Organize and lead key meetings, including project kick-off, progress, and closure meetings with clients and stakeholders
Ensure efficient allocation and utilization of resources and materials
Monitor and manage project financials, implementing corrective actions as needed to stay within budget
Ensure adherence to workplace quality and safety practices
Conduct internal quality control (QC) and testing and commissioning (T&C) processes to meet project standards
Compile and manage all necessary project documentation, including material certifications, mill certifications, factory test reports, and other required records
Foster effective communication and collaboration with all levels of stakeholders
Provide hands-on support to overcome challenges and ensure project goals are met.

Requirements:

Degree in Engineering from a recognized university
At least 5 years of engineering experience with a proven track record in managing projects from tender to handover
Proficiency in project management frameworks such as Gantt Chart, Scrum, or PMP
Experience in solar design and installation is highly desirable
Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVSyst, and Helioscope is an advantage
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels
Commitment to extended work hours when necessary to meet project deadlines
Hands-on approach and dedication to achieving project goals.

Nice to have:

Experience in solar design and installation
Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVSyst, and Helioscope.
