A dynamic and commercially driven construction consultancy in Manchester is seeking a Project Manager to lead retail and logistics developments across the North West. Working with major developers and institutional landlords, this Project Manager role offers fast-paced delivery and exposure to some of the region’s most active commercial sites. The consultancy is known for combining technical expertise with commercial awareness and is looking for a Project Manager who can work independently while driving value for clients.
Job Responsibility:
Managing the design process, procurement and programme through to handover
Engaging with tenants, landlords and local authorities
Preparing project briefs, delivery strategies, and reports
Leading meetings with contractors, consultants and investors
Administering JCT and NEC contracts
Monitoring budgets, timelines and delivery KPIs
Requirements:
A construction-related degree (Project Management, Quantity Surveying, etc.)
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a consultancy setting
Background in retail, industrial or commercial sectors
Good knowledge of procurement routes and contract administration
The ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively
Chartership (or working towards) with RICS, APM or CIOB
