The Project Manager will manage most aspects of the development and implementation of automation projects. The Project Manager will take the projects from original concept through to final implementation while ensuring long-term customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Job Responsibility:
Manages the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple or large-scale automation projects up to $4M in combined volume
Serves as primary interface with the customers, sales, engineering and operations
Reviews high-level project deliverables based upon User Requirements
Prepares and presents progress reports, schedule updates, project reviews and performance reports
Develop risk mitigation plans
Proactively identifies and manages changes in project scope
Integrates financial data for multiple projects through the estimated cost to finish process
Develops the Risk Assessment Plan requirement of ISO 13485
Adhere to International Standardization Organization (ISO 13485) standards
Full compliance with the terms and conditions within the employee signed work from home policy
Comply with all ATS Company policies
Manages to and exceeds revenue/profit goals set for projects
Recognizes Change Order opportunities
Promotes aftermarket service offerings and spare parts
Serves as key leader/participant in team and client project level meetings
Keeps the stakeholders informed of all potential project risks
Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors and peers
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project)
Assists in the evaluation and redesign of project scope
Possesses the appropriate automation experience to assist in problem solving
Evokes creative and innovative thinking from team members
Captures and shares lessons learned and best practices
Manages day-to-day client interaction and expectations
Anticipates client’s needs and proposes alternative technical solutions
Continually seeks and capitalizes upon opportunities to increase customer satisfaction
Requirements:
Bachelor of science degree in engineering/manufacturing/management or equivalent experience
two – five (2- 5) years in automation project engineering
Must be a success-oriented individual who overcomes obstacles both internally and externally
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Broad knowledge of automatic assembly equipment (mechanical and controls)
Detail oriented
Must possess a valid passport (or be able to obtain one) for periodic travel outside of the United States
Nice to have:
Solid knowledge of automation/packaging equipment preferred
