Job Description:

We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of water infrastructure construction projects across Melbourne. This site-based role offers the opportunity to manage end-to-end project delivery while working with a collaborative team dedicated to excellence. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll drive project success across program planning, health and safety, quality, commercial performance, and sustainability objectives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Establish and maintain a positive safety culture across all projects
  • Develop project budgets, forecasts, and accruals
  • Manage contracts, variations, and Extensions of Time
  • Comprehensive project planning including procurement, scheduling, and resourcing
  • Ensure quality systems compliance and documentation standards
  • Foster collaborative stakeholder relationships
  • Identify sustainable and social procurement opportunities

Requirements:

  • Must be based in the Melbourne area - this is a site-based role
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Project Management, or related field
  • Proven track record managing construction projects within the water sector
  • Demonstrated project delivery success across planning, safety, quality, commercial, and sustainability
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong project management principles and methodologies
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management software
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities
