Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Project Manager to join our team on the OHL Tenders, supporting the delivery of a range of exciting schemes. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is keen to further develop their skills and take on increasing levels of responsibility.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support Overhead Line (OHL) opportunities throughout the tender and development phases of the project life cycle
  • Provide guidance to the Pre-Construction department during tender preparation
  • Collaborate with OHL resources to gather and organize scheme information
  • Deliver robust data to aid accurate pricing and tender submissions
  • Compile schedules that define clear scopes of work for subcontractor pricing
  • Participate in Tender Walkovers to assess project requirements and site conditions
  • Facilitate smooth handovers from tender or development stages to delivery teams

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Overhead Line (OHL) Transmission systems and practices
  • Skilled in reading, interpreting, and developing detailed Scope of Works documents
  • Ability to drive accuracy and clarity in project planning and execution
  • Clear understanding of National Grid expectations and operational standards
  • Solid grasp of NEC (New Engineering Contract) frameworks and their application in project delivery
