Job Description:

A leading supplier within the labelling machinery sector is seeking a Project Engineer to join their growing team. Working on projects from initial design concepts through to customer acceptance, where no two will be the same, you will learn the design process of our business that leads to machine installations all over the world.

Job Responsibility:

Interpreting and understanding detailed drawings to produce design documentation
Utilising 3D CAD to support the design and build phase of the project (SolidWorks or similar)
Creating BOM for each project
Supporting the build and installation teams throughout the projects

Requirements:

Experience of 3D CAD packages (SolidWorks is desirable but any other CAD experience should be transferable)
A proven track record of delivering engineering projects in a manufacturing industry
Experience of creating BOM and selecting materials
The ability to understand design schematics and documentation
The ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, while handling various projects at the same time
Mechanical, technical, engineering and/or project management qualifications

Nice to have:

Experience of machined components and practices, weldments, sheet metal / folding & material selection
