Job Responsibility:
Coordinate essential projects related to the intake, movement, and processing of historical assets
Lead engaging tours and support captivating activations, installations, and other initiatives designed to connect our teams with our company’s heritage
Respond to diverse research requests, providing crucial historical context and information
Meticulously rehouse and scan physical historical assets, ensuring digital files are uploaded according to established guidelines
Support the organized maintenance of both onsite and offsite storage spaces for our valuable collections
Manage general project tasks and contribute to various other duties as assigned, ensuring smooth operations
Requirements:
A detail-oriented individual with exceptional organizational and administrative capabilities
Demonstrated comfort and enthusiasm for public speaking, coupled with a friendly and energetic demeanor
Proficiency in using word processing, spreadsheet, database, and digital imaging software
Excellent communication, customer service, and writing skills
The ability to be a proactive self-starter, capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
A Bachelor’s degree
A minimum of 1 year of experience in historical collection assistance, preferably within a corporate or large organizational setting
Nice to have:
A Master’s degree or relevant coursework in library science, archival/museum studies, or a related field
