The Project Analyst will play a critical role in supporting project planning, execution, and monitoring activities across various initiatives. Responsibilities will include data analysis, reporting, process improvement, and collaboration with team members to ensure projects remain on track. The analyst will contribute to the efficient delivery of project objectives by providing insights and administrative support.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct data analysis to support project performance tracking and decision-making processes using key metrics and reporting tools
Collaborate with program managers to gather, validate and analyze data to ensure data accuracy and usability
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including charters, plans, timelines, status reports, reporting dashboards, and deliverables
Collaborate with program managers and team members to identify challenges and risks, provide analysis and management recommendations
Develop and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor project health and success
Assist in budget tracking, cost analysis, and resource allocation planning to help ensure projects remain within financial parameters
Maintain and update project management tools and systems
Generate detailed project reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders
Research best practices, recommend process improvements, and support the development of processes and tools to enhance project efficiency
Facilitate and participate in post-project evaluations and recommend improvements for future initiatives
Ensure that all project documentation is stored and organized according to PMO standards
Perform additional duties as required to support the success of project initiatives
Perform other duties as required

Requirements:
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., dynamic arrays, PowerPivot) and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira), as well as the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on interpreting data and providing actionable insights
Effective verbal and written communication, alongside strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy, data integrity, and confidentiality
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills
able to work independently with minimal oversight
Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills in fast-paced environments
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Data Analytics, or a related field (preferred)
Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) or data analysis (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) are a plus
2+ or more years of experience in project analysis, data analysis, or project management
Experience in data management, reporting, or process improvement roles is preferred
Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret DoD clearance, U.S. Citizenship required
Ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret/SCI DoD clearance preferred
Nice to have:
Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) or data analysis (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) are a plus
Experience in data management, reporting, or process improvement roles is preferred
Ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret/SCI DoD clearance preferred
