Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Programme Test Manager to support a major client project based in the North West.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide strategic and technical leadership across complex test programmes
  • Define and implement test strategies that balance technical and business risk within diverse delivery environments
  • Advise on testing processes, frameworks, tools, and best practices
  • Lead the implementation of scalable test automation frameworks and continuous testing capabilities
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends in delivery and quality engineering, applying new practices where appropriate
  • Oversee test activities across multiple workstreams, vendors, and methodologies
  • Work closely with delivery teams to guide and support—without driving day-to-day operations

Requirements:

  • Solid background in managing and delivering effective testing programmes
  • Ability to work strategically and technically across varied delivery contexts
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Deep understanding of modern testing practices and tooling
  • Exposure to continuous delivery, microservices, containerization, and DevOps principles

Nice to have:

  • Experience in Model-Based Development techniques
  • Proficiency in Simulink and MATLAB for system simulation and testing
  • Familiarity with aerospace, defence, or engineering domains is highly advantageous
