Job Description:

Programme Advisors are responsible for promoting Gisma’s programme portfolio to potential students via phone, e-mail and online meetings, forming a vital and integral part of the sales team. The purpose of the role is to manage the pipeline of students from initial application right through to payment of tuition fees, offering international students support through the entire application process.

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing individually tailored advice to all prospective students, adapting to different communication styles
  • Consulting students through the full application circle: from initial conversation through to finalizing and closing their application to study with Gisma
  • Exploring possible career paths for students and assertively matching them with specific Gisma offerings
  • For international students: advising / making students aware of visa, immigration issues and compliance
  • Handling student enquiries regarding different programmes and adapting to different communication needs
  • Proven track record of cultivating meaningful client relationships and delivering tailored solutions
  • Providing outstanding customer service to all students and all stakeholders, in a timely and efficient manner, and encouraging students to choose Gisma
  • Portraying a positive and professional image of Gisma at all times
  • Account Managing students’ applications from initial enquiry up to payment of tuition fees and registration
  • Leveraging available technology and keeping all records up to date
  • Correct and time-efficient management of leads pipeline

Requirements:

  • Completed commercial/business training and/or university degree in a relevant field
  • Practical experience in Sales
  • Experience in project management and industry knowledge in the higher education sector
  • Very good knowledge of English, written and spoken
  • Good knowledge of MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Experience with working with CRM systems such as Salesforce
  • A high degree of initiative, organizational talent and empathy
