Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Program Support Specialist to join our Mission Systems Value Stream Support team in Fairfield, California. In this long-term contract role, you will contribute to the successful execution of current and future programs by managing projects of moderate complexity and ensuring seamless coordination across teams. This position offers an opportunity to work on impactful initiatives while developing innovative solutions to meet organizational goals.

Job Responsibility:

Lead and manage projects of moderate scope and complexity, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational objectives
Provide oversight to resolve or mitigate potential issues, ensuring smooth project execution
Coordinate cross-functional activities to address obsolete components and ensure continuous production
Analyze complex problems to develop logical, in-depth solutions and actionable recommendations
Facilitate effective communication and understanding across teams to achieve project milestones
Maintain attention to detail while managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
Drive decision-making processes with confidence, even in challenging or uncertain situations
Develop and implement strategies to meet hard deadlines, such as Last Time Buy notices, ensuring production continuity
Promote teamwork and serve as a motivator to enhance morale and collaboration among team members
Ensure all project details are accurate and meet quality standards, demonstrating dependability and accountability

Requirements:

Proven experience in project management, including planning, scheduling, and executing projects of moderate complexity
Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel, SAP R/3, and other reporting software
Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct detailed data analysis and problem-solving
Excellent communication and coordination skills to work effectively across teams and departments
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Knowledge of procurement, manufacturing, and component selection processes
Familiarity with risk management practices and techniques
A proactive and persistent approach to overcoming challenges and achieving project goals
