As a Program Manager I, Tech within the Uber GSS QA team, you will be at the heart of ensuring product quality excellence for all Uber products. You will own the end-to-end QA lifecycle across multiple lines of business, serving as a critical bridge between product, engineering, and vendor teams. This role is designed for a strategic thinker and fast executor who can manage complex testing programs—from pre-launch through regression—while maintaining a high standard for quality and operational efficiency.
Job Responsibility:
Manage the QA Lifecycle: Oversee all phases of testing, including bug management, pre-launch testing, regression testing, and sanity testing across multiple business lines
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Engineering, Product, Device Lab, and Regional teams to ensure seamless program delivery
Operational Excellence: Collaborate with fellow QA Program Managers to identify, adopt, and share industry best practices across the organization
Program Ownership: Maintain full accountability for program health, tracking performance against established OKRs, and making data-driven adjustments as needed
Flexibility: Adapt to and support shifting client requirements during the UAIS product testing program to ensure project success
Requirements:
Minimum of 6 years of professional Program Management or Operations experience
At least 3 years of experience specifically within a Quality Assurance environment
Proven experience working with and managing vendor teams
Demonstrated ability to own and drive OKRs for a program
Ability to interpret complex data sets to make informed, strategic decisions
Nice to have:
Proficiency or foundational experience in JavaScript
Experience using Low-Code/No-Code (LCNC) platforms for test automation
Proven track record of supporting cross-functional programs
