Job Responsibility:

  • Analyze, identify, and propose engineering process improvements tailored to the requirements of internal and external clients
  • Lead requirements analysis workshops
  • Interact with various part of the organization to ensure consistency in proposed solutions
  • Support engineering improvement initiatives aligned with the organization's Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) strategy and in collaboration with the IT department
  • Support users during and after the deployment of process and tool improvements
  • Effectively manage team priorities and activities
  • Participate in and prepare meetings with the development team to coordinate activities leading to the delivery of proposed improvements
  • Provide continuous visibility into the progress of multiple projects conducted in parallel
  • Develop and harmonize project timelines and ensure technical teams adhere to these timelines
  • Lead activities to identify, manage, and mitigate risks, and prepare contingency plans
  • Facilitate problem-solving and ensure engaging all stakeholders and achieving effective resolution
  • Thrive in a flexible and hybrid work environment, where some tasks are performed remotely

Requirements:

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of relevant engineering experience in a manufacturing company
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in engineering and/or IT
  • Project management skills, with demonstrated leadership and teamwork abilities
  • Experience with CAD, PLM, ERP, and product change management principles
  • Experience collaborating with software architects/developers (an asset)
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and French, as well as the ability to train and/or mentor others
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Possess strong analytical, planning, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, as well as sound business acumen
  • Organized, self-motivated, and manage time effectively
  • Familiar with aircraft development programs (an asset)
