This is an exciting Program Management opportunity to manage a high-profile SW Engineering International program based out of Korea. We are seeking an individual with advanced Program Management skills who can hit the ground running with an already inflight program to assist through a critical time in the project. This individual will work directly with the Customer, BP Product and Engineering teams. The PM will hold an integral role alongside a global execution team (Asia and North America emphasis) in this multi-year program and will interface to strategic customer in Korea.
Job Responsibility:
Leads the strategic program to execute the vision and organizational goals communicated by our client Senior Leadership
Collaborates with cross-functional teams (customer/partner, product & engineering, and executives) across multiple geographies
Drives completion of all required deliverables, with a focus on customer communications, quality feedback and established deadlines
Leads and participates in customer calls across many time zones and ensures actions items are captured and addressed on both sides
Manages project release dependencies across multiple projects and cross functional teams
Provides governance, oversight, risk and change control management on the program
Provides visibility and transparency to project status, issues, schedule and manage project deliverables
Createss and maintains project management artifacts such as schedule, resource and resource forecast, risk and issues logs
Ensures clear and crisp communication to effectively convey program status and timelines to all levels of the business
Requirements:
Fluency in English and Korean
Senior level experience leading project management that delivered projects strong and programs on time & on budget in a fast-paced growing global environment
Customer facing project management experience with track record of managing cross functional teams across multiple programs
Strong verbal and written communications skills to be able to influence, collaborate and negotiate with high level executives across the company in both languages
Strong technical background and understanding of software development processes and methodologies
Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies, and methods
Strong presentation and leadership ability, to work independently and with cross geography teams with diverse skill sets
Ability to proactively identify risks and work with relevant parties to implement appropriate mitigation strategies
Ability to work independently, while also leading and influencing others
Experience communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences
High cultural competency given the global nature of this program and geographical spread of the many teams involved
Personality that is intuitive, detail oriented, collaborative, accountable, and customer focused
Superb business judgment and ability to think through complex business issues
Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in using appropriate tools: Agile Project Management tools such as Jira, Aha! or equivalent. Microsoft Project, Visio, and all Microsoft Office Tools
Nice to have:
Domain knowledge in Telecommunications / Mobile, 5G and software is an asset
