SP Industries Inc. is expanding our team in Vineland, NJ and have an immediate opening for a Production Planner. In this role, the right candidate will be responsible for supporting production planning activities across multiple product lines, including NMR, PB, and LG. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. The Planner will work closely with Production, Customer Service, Sales, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Leadership to help ensure customer demand is met while supporting efficient manufacturing operations.
Job Responsibility:
Assist in developing and maintaining production plans and schedules across multiple product lines (NMR, PB, and LG)
Monitor demand, production capacity, and material availability to support on-time delivery
Collaborate closely with production personnel and leadership to communicate priorities, schedule changes, and constraints
Work closely with Customer Service and Sales to support customer requirements and delivery commitments
Coordinate with Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Sourcing to ensure materials are available to support production plans
Provide backup support to Supply Chain functions as needed, including planning coverage, data updates, and coordination activities
Support purchasing and sourcing activities as needed, including expediting materials and reviewing shortages
Maintain and update planning data within ERP/MRP systems
Analyze data and generate reports to support planning decisions
Identify potential risks or disruptions and communicate proactively to stakeholders
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure data integrity across systems
Requirements:
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities across different product lines
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments
Ability to collaborate with production personnel, leadership, and cross-functional teams
Prior experience with ERP/MRP systems is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Excel experience (formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data entry) is a plus
Prior planning, scheduling, or sourcing experience is a plus
Manufacturing experience preferred

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
HS Diploma required
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field is a plus
Prior relevant experience in production planning, scheduling, sourcing, or manufacturing operations will be strongly considered in lieu of a degree
