Production Manager

• Effective leadership of all aspects of plant production
• organize and monitor daily and monthly workflow
• ensure production meets product specifications
• monitor and resolve production issues
• provide leadership including HR processes, coaching, mentoring, and training
• drive performance evaluation and improvement
• ensure Health and Safety compliance across the team
• ensure adherence to Quality, ISO, and FSC standards
• deliver sustainability objectives related to production
• formulate plans meeting wider business objectives
• monitor stock control and manage supplier relationships

• Understanding of corrugated packaging and timber production processes
• previous commercial experience in a similar role with good knowledge of Quality and Health and Safety
• previous experience of supervising and leading teams
• strong character and confident
• good knowledge of lean processes eg Six Sigma & Kaizen
• experience of taking a business through change process
• excellent written and verbal communication skills
• excellent organization and interpersonal skills
• ILM Level 5 or equivalent qualification or willingness to complete the course
