Job Description:

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Senior Production Engineer (Level 3) to support equipment replacement and process engineering activities within an industrial production environment. The role focuses on taking plant components from specification through supplier collaboration, installation planning, and handover to the plant owner. You will work closely with a small, experienced team in a dynamic and international setting, contributing hands-on technical expertise without direct line management responsibilities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Drive replacement of plant components from requirement definition to handover
  • Develop product and equipment specifications and collaborate with suppliers
  • Plan installations and support commissioning and handover to the plant owner
  • Perform troubleshooting, process analyses, and risk assessments (e.g. HAZOP)
  • Contribute to process improvements, layout changes, and process safety initiatives
  • Support activities related to control engineering, programming, and CAD where applicable
  • Work with vapour phase processes and oil systems
  • Ensure structured documentation and compliance with technical and safety requirements
  • Collaborate closely with a cross-functional team (team size: 5)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent technical background
  • Minimum 6 years of experience within production or process engineering
  • Strong background in production engineering, design, or product development
  • Experience in troubleshooting, process analysis, and risk assessments (HAZOP)
  • Knowledge of process safety, control engineering, programming, and CAD
  • Experience with vapour phase processes and oil systems
  • Experience working in dynamic, international, and multicultural environments
  • Structured working style with strong documentation skills
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, spoken and written
  • Experience with purchasing and installation of equipment
