Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Product Support Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Memphis, Tennessee. In this role, you will leverage Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology to support critical business operations and decision-making processes. Your expertise will help analyze and visualize spatial data to uncover patterns, trends, and actionable insights.

Job Responsibility:

Collect, process, and analyze geospatial data from sources such as GIS systems, aerial imagery, and LiDAR
Develop and maintain GIS databases and regularly update maps to ensure accuracy
Perform advanced spatial analyses, including buffer, overlay, network, and geostatistical analysis
Design and produce high-quality maps and visualizations using tools like ArcGIS or similar GIS software
Implement GIS-based solutions to address business challenges, including optimizing routes and allocating resources effectively
Stay informed on the latest GIS technologies and integrate best practices into workflows
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate GIS insights into engineering, planning, and marketing strategies
Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate GIS findings to stakeholders
Provide technical support and training to team members on GIS software and methodologies

Requirements:

Proficiency in GIS technologies, including tools like ArcGIS or equivalent
Strong understanding of spatial data analysis, visualization, and database management
Familiarity with Cisco and Citrix technologies
Knowledge of cloud technologies and backup solutions
Experience with computer hardware and Dell technologies
Competence in using Active Directory for system management
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams
Knowledge with Experience Builder
