Job Description:

This position is responsible for performing professional software engineering, modification, evaluation and Software simulation testing in support of the Company’s complex semiconductor capital equipment and systems, and their software control systems.

Job Responsibility:

  • A technical expert on Lam’s Etch software – provide technical expertise on performing professional software engineering, modification, evaluation and Software simulation testing in support of the Company’s complex semiconductor capital equipment and systems, and their software control systems
  • Partner the account team to present to customers the problem statement, identified root causes (complete with data analysis) and getting buy-in on proposed solutions
  • Direct and manage software changes and modifications, drive correct action and push out preventive measures
  • Effectively utilize Lam’s IMS to resolve escalations and actively share knowledge with Lam’s worldwide technical community
  • Is a mentor to local account engineers
  • provide SW training to Account team Engineers and Customers’ personnel
  • Represent the company to the customers and utilizing knowledge of company’s product lines and services to keep existing / potential customers informed when new/additional needs are identified
  • Develop good customer relations during performing professional software engineering, modification and evaluation
  • Maintain company’s assigned equipment (computer, tool kit, diagnostic test equipment, spare parts etc) in good working condition, secure and accounted for
  • Ensure safe working condition at work site
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Immediate Supervisor

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3+ years of related experience
  • Able to work in a air-conditioned clean room
  • Must be able to wear personal protective clothing which comprises of air respirator equipment, clean room garments and safety shoes
  • Able to perform shift and standby duties
  • Good communication and interpersonal relations skill
