Job Description:

Product Quality and Recovery Co-worker responsible for giving products a second chance through various recovery methods while maintaining focus on sustainability, customer service, and commercial results.

Job Responsibility:

Take necessary action on products to give them second chance through As-Is Selling, Repackaging or spare parts management
Present and Sell IKEA products in As-Is using strong commercial expression
Set relevant prices attractive to customers yet generating best results for business
Consider sustainability impact when deciding how to recover products
Represent and be ambassador for product recovery, quality, and safety awareness
Work closely with different functions to ensure common working routines and processes are followed
Support and execute product quality and safety related tasks

Requirements:

Business-minded and result-driven with a customer focus
Experience working in a customer- and commercial-oriented business
Open to change and high level of flexibility
Can take personal initiatives
Can prioritize and organize personal work duties
Creative with attention to detail
Good knowledge of the IKEA product range
Can use power tools and craftmanship in product assembly
Customer service minded
Can prioritize daily tasks and work under pressure
Operational understanding and logical thinking
Good communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
Flexible with readiness to change
Can work well both in team and individually
Good understanding of merchandising techniques
Good understanding of customer behaviour in omnichannel retail environment
Good knowledge of waste management and sustainability principles
Good knowledge of using IT systems and tools
Good knowledge of functions within IKEA unit
Good knowledge of store's product recovery, quality and safety processes
Basic understanding of workflow impact on profit and loss
