Job Description:

Citi Futures and OTC Clearing Technology supports a rapidly growing business that uses technological innovation to maintain competitive advantage in a constantly evolving market. The role involves managing complex projects including analyzing requirements, documenting solutions, testing systems, and ensuring alignment with business and regulatory standards.

Job Responsibility:

Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs, gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements
Define and communicate product vision, roadmap, and strategic direction to align with business goals
Own and manage product backlog, define clear user stories, and prioritize features based on business value and impact
Act as a key liaison between business users, development teams, and senior leadership to ensure alignment on product and business needs
Represent business needs in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups and retrospectives
Ensure business and product solutions adhere to regulatory, compliance, and internal control requirements
Develop Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and user stories to support development teams
Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validate solutions, and ensure a smooth rollout of new feature and process changes
Provide stakeholders with regular updates on project progress, risks, and opportunities to ensure transparency and alignment
Maintain the product backlog and facilitateprioritization discussions with key business stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic objectives
Negotiate and manage project priorities based on business needs, resource availability, and technical feasibility to ensure optimal delivery
Evaluate existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend process optimizations for better functional efficiency

Requirements:

Strong experience in product manager with a proven track record of success for planning anddelivery
Significant years of experience in driving product development, managing stakeholders anddevelopment teams on business/technical acumen and implementation solutions alignedwith project objectives
Solid understanding in web/Java application and database development and solution architecture design
Strong leadership and influencing skills, including experience managing a tech/development team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and management
Strong negotiation skills to balance and prioritize multiple projects
Familiarity with the project managementand agile scrum methodologieswith best practice
Proven ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and large global teams and leadmultiple activities and build/develop working relationships
Proficient in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel etc) and passion in data analysis
Proven ability to effectively use complex analytical, interpretive, and problem-solvingtechniques and execute test plan
Proven interpersonal and relationship management skills to partner and influence across organizational lines
Demonstrated ability to be work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines with proactive,decisiveness and flexibility
Scrum Master or PMP Certification (Project Management Professional) required or working towards it
Bachelor’s degree/University degree in Business and Technology, or a related field

Nice to have:

Hands-on experience in web/Java application and database development
Master's degree preferred
Understanding of trade lifecycle & trading systems and trade clearing and execution
Familiarity with Product design and delivery process
