Product Manager role at Clear Street to help define and execute the product strategy for Studio, the modern prime brokerage platform, and broader market infrastructure. The role involves creating new products, improving workflows, owning the roadmap, and leading cross-functional collaboration to build a platform that simplifies the prime brokerage experience.
Job Responsibility:
Define and execute the product strategy for Studio and broader market infrastructure
Create new products that simplify and optimize back-office and front-office processes
Improve existing workflows across the Studio platform
Own and execute the product roadmap
Lead collaboration between engineering, design, data, and customer-facing teams
Develop products that simplify the prime brokerage experience end-to-end within Studio
Continuously refine and expand existing functionality
Ensure the platform remains intuitive, scalable, and differentiated in the market
Partner with stakeholders to deliver effective strategic solutions, on time, and within budget
Align product investment with commercial business objectives
Act as the point of contact and handle escalations for all product, operational and engineering
Define business requirements, create the product road map and manage the development lifecycle
Manage trade-off discussions with Engineering and client group
Requirements:
At least eight (8) years of total professional experience with at least five (5) years directly in product management or business analysis with a broker dealer
Created industry-defining analytics products or productivity tools for the enterprise market
Technical skills to gain an in-depth understanding of the platform and contribute to conversations on topics like data modeling and software architecture
Capital markets experience across a wide range of products (equities, fixed income, derivatives, futures etc...)
Creative, logical and strategic product thinker who loves collaborating across the company with engineering, operations, marketing, design and sales
Strong communications skills and ability to articulate precise customer problems
Experience leading programs across multiple, competing work streams while balancing business, client and regulatory needs versus budget and time constraints
Advanced skills in either Microsoft Office or Google Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Docs, Sheets or Slides)
Proven leader who knows how to influence others
Nice to have:
The ability to run basic to intermediate SQL queries
Comfortable understanding of APIs and how they enable product functionality, including ability to read basic API documentation and collaborate with engineering on both implementation and integration requirements
