Job Description:

We are looking for enthusiastic problem solvers to join us in scaling our platform, digitalising businesses in Asia, uplifting rider livelihoods, and building a hyper-convenient platform for our customers. If you love working with technology to create solutions and are not afraid to roll up your sleeves to get things done, you will find your tribe here at foodpanda. Our diverse and high-performing team comprises people from more than 60 nationalities, and we welcome all experiences, backgrounds, and perspectives. As the Product Manager (Pickup), you will own and evolve core product experiences that drive pickup adoption, conversion, and repeat usage across our food delivery platform. You will focus on solving customer and merchant problems unique to pickup such as discovery, convenience, and habit formation by building data-informed scalable product solutions. Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial, marketing, engineering, design, and data teams to maintain alignment with business objectives while you define and execute a strategic roadmap for sustainable growth across end-to-end pickup journey.

Job Responsibility:

  • Setting the vision, product strategy and roadmap to drive growth and business impact within the Pickup journey (e.g. discovery, pricing & value perception, checkout, repeat usage) and translate them into clear product initiatives
  • Defining metrics to measure the health and success of your products and initiatives
  • Running experiments to support your product decisions with data
  • Identifying and executing opportunities to optimise incentive mechanics across the end-to-end user journey
  • Understanding user needs and building delightful user experiences in collaboration with the design team
  • Aligning with business stakeholders and other product teams to drive meaningful outcomes and ensure cohesive user experience
  • Leading product execution and helping your squad members thrive
  • Working closely with the engineering teams across products to build scalable and robust solutions
  • Keeping apprised of innovations and trends in the industry and emerging technologies and inspiring teams to stay ahead of the curve

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Natural Science Studies, or a related field
  • Proven experience of ~3-6 years in successfully building products for consumers in growing markets (experience in consumer-facing products or food delivery - pickup vertical is strongly preferred)
  • Efficient in developing product strategies and roadmaps, deriving insights from data and understanding high-level technical architectures
  • Obsessed with the user experience and have a track record of successful collaboration with designers
  • Experience running experiments and leveraging qualitative and quantitative data, balanced with product sense, to drive product decisions
  • Good at leading and influencing, and demonstrated product leadership in the past
  • Solid experience in leading agile teams and great at turning epics into well-structured user stories
  • Curious growth mindset, not afraid of challenging the status quo, and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Good in dealing with ambiguity and able to balance priorities
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
What we offer:
  • A dynamic and challenging work environment
  • A company committed to developing you personally and professionally
  • A great working atmosphere with regular company and team events
  • A vibrant and international team committed to diversity and inclusion
  • Responsibility from day one in a fast growing and global company
  • Other benefits include free food, health and dental insurance, and learning and development opportunities
