Job Description:

Our client, a dynamic organisation, is on the lookout for a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Officer. You'll be at the forefront of securing the best goods and services for the organisation, managing procurement processes, supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Job Responsibility:

Source, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products
Negotiate contracts and pricing to secure the best deals
Create and process purchase orders, adhering to budget guidelines and policies
Analyse procurement data, track costs, and optimise purchasing decisions
Monitor and assess supplier performance, making adjustments as needed
Stay ahead of industry trends and identify potential suppliers to enhance procurement strategies
Collaborate with the planning team to manage stock levels effectively
Ensure all procurement activities align with laws and company policies
Maintain accurate records and provide insightful reports

Requirements:

3 to 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management or equivalent
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)
An analytical mindset with keen attention to detail
Certification in Procurement (CIPS, CPSM) is a plus
Familiarity with the INFOR M3 ERP system is an advantage
Fluency in Italian and/or German is a bonus

Nice to have:

Certification in Procurement (CIPS, CPSM)
Familiarity with the INFOR M3 ERP system
Fluency in Italian and/or German
