Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Assistant with 2–4 years of experience in chemical or packaging procurement experience preferable and supply chain coordination. The ideal candidate will support procurement operations, ensure timely resolve supply constraint and maintain supplier performance records. This role is critical to maintaining supply continuity and supporting digital procurement transformation data entry.

Job Responsibility:

  • Upload and maintain procurement data in ERP systems and web base applications
  • Update vendor ratings and maintain TQRDC scorecards
  • Collect and record Acknowledgement Proofs
  • Communicate with suppliers via email and phone to follow up on critical deliveries
  • Track supply status and escalate delays to the procurement lead
  • Liaise with Global Services Center (GSC), warehouse and suppliers to resolve payment-related queries
  • Support invoice matching, GRN posting, and follow-up on pending payments
  • Assist in data collection for cost supplier audits, internal audit for ISO, IATF, FDA
  • Contribute to localization and dual sourcing projects under guidance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field)
  • 3–4 years of experience in chemical procurement or industrial sourcing
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Familiarity with procurement compliance and documentation
  • Basic understanding of supplier performance metrics (TQRDC, OTIF)
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint

Nice to have:

  • chemical or packaging procurement experience preferable
  • exposure to Power BI is a plus
