Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Procurement Analyst to join our team in Ruther Glen, Virginia. In this role, you will be responsible for managing critical procurement processes to support engineering, construction, and compliance-driven projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sourcing and supply chain logistics, ensuring the delivery of high-value equipment and materials on time and within regulatory standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Source and procure high-value equipment, such as switchgear, generators, chillers, and fire alarm panels, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations
  • Manage supply chain activities to align with mission-critical schedules and project requirements
  • Ensure adherence to the Buy American Act and other compliance standards, including §889 regulations
  • Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to support the design and implementation of electrical distribution systems, fire safety systems, and structured cabling
  • Facilitate contract negotiations to secure favorable terms with vendors and suppliers
  • Monitor procurement activities to optimize cost-efficiency while maintaining quality standards
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline processes and resolve supply chain challenges
  • Oversee warranty support and the transition of equipment to operations and maintenance teams
  • Conduct testing and commissioning of procured materials to ensure functionality and acceptance
  • Provide detailed reporting and analysis to support procurement strategies and decision-making

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in corporate procurement and supply chain management
  • Expertise in supply chain logistics and vendor coordination
  • Strong skills in contract negotiations and purchasing strategies
  • Familiarity with federal compliance requirements, including the Buy American Act and §889 regulations
  • Knowledge of engineering, construction, and mission-critical systems
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools to support procurement decisions
