Job Description:

Hands-on role in a great team environment. You will enjoy hands-on training, with a variety of tasks and exposure to some of the challenges that come with producing Raw Sugar. You'll be at the core of our operations, assisting the Boiler Operator with overseeing critical equipment, ensuring optimal steam generation and maintaining plant efficiency. This hands-on role requires strict adherence to safety protocols and relevant performance standards. You will also gain valuable job knowledge and become experienced in our operational teams.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work closely with the Boiler Station and shift teams to keep operations running smoothly and safely
  • Take charge of turbine and auxiliary equipment start-ups and shut-downs
  • Manage the vital Bagasse system with precision ensuring smooth, efficient operations
  • Inspect, troubleshoot and handle boiler and auxiliary systems, reporting abnormalities
  • Actively contribute to work, health and safety standards, from risk assessments to job safety analyses and participation in site safety programs
