Job Description:

Proceduralism relies on broken down published components, logical structures and parameters to construct CGI at scale with code rather than manual effort. Procedural Supervisors will be responsible for overseeing the creation and development of these conventions. This role involves working closely with Python developers to define procedural specifications to generate and control 2D files.

Job Responsibility:

  • Define and build procedural systems for breakdown and assembling files for 2D roto, paint and compositing workflows and provide tools for manual and bulk adjustments of parameters
  • Design systems for efficient and non-destructive preservation of colour, viewing luts and render efficiency
  • Maintain continuity and scale in editorial cut, ensuring technical and visual consistency for animating and iteration geometry and compatible rigs
  • Collaborate with Python developers to establish clear specifications for how the procedural system should function, covering compositing fundamentals and colour, animation, render and editorial processes

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of Nuke, with strong skills in roto, paint, compositing, colour and editorial
  • Experience with Da Vinci Resolve, Premier, Photoshop and After Effects beneficial
  • Extensive experience in 2D in a mature pipeline
  • Proficiency in Python scripting for procedural tools and pipeline integration
  • Ability to communicate complex technical requirements to Python developers and other technical teams
