Proactive Sales Manager role at Sheraton Melbourne Hotel driving MICE business, group bookings, and events in the heart of the city. Reporting to Director of Sales, responsible for identifying high-value sales opportunities and building long-term client relationships.
Job Responsibility:
Proactively source and convert MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Events) business
Drive group and event sales across corporate and leisure segments
Showcase premium venues and tailor event solutions to client needs
Collaborate with Revenue, Marketing, and Operations teams to deliver exceptional service
Achieve personal sales targets and contribute to overall team success
Requirements:
1–2 years' experience in a proactive sales role, ideally within hotels or events
Proven success in driving revenue and building client relationships
Strong prospecting, negotiation, and communication skills
Familiarity with CI/TY systems (highly regarded)
Knowledge of the Melbourne market (bonus)
